Our Own Southern Bitters

Here is an add from De Bow's Review November 1867. The civil war general that is pictured on the label is Stonewall Jackson. Their is evidence that states the proprietor was from the north and came to Memphis after the civil war.

This is the photograph taking of General Jackson at a Spotsylvania County farm on April 26, 1863, seven days before his wounding at the Battle of Chancellorsville.
