Buddy gets a nice stoneware ink and an Ayer bottle!
Mike gets in and comes up with a black glass ale bottle. I really like the way an old bottle looks when you first see it still in the use layer, but I like it even more when you pull it out of the ground and its in perfect condition!
After Jesse & Ron leave Buddy & Mike stay for another hour or so. We probe another spot next to where we were and find a couple more newer bottles.
A Fortune Ward Apothecary and a Memphis Gay-Ola crown top bottle.
While we didn't find any great bottles, it sure was fun digging with Jesse and Ron and glad to see that they had a good time! Thanks guys for your enjoyment! See you guys next time.
Sadly, David was unable to dig this weekend after an unfortunate accident. Hopefully he'll be able to find Bitters bottles with us next week.
